Our Story
Blue Bison Builds began in a Utah garage, powered by a single question every engineer can’t ignore: “Why hasn’t someone fixed this yet?”
Our founder—a mechanical engineer with a decade of automation-equipment design—started tackling everyday headaches: insulin vials rolling around the fridge, Yoto cards scattered across the counter, fuel ports clogging with campsite grit. One prototype led to another, word spread, and soon a “small side project” grew into a micro-factory of 3D printers humming day and night. Blue Bison Builds was born.
Why the Bison?
Like the North American bison, our products are resilient, efficient, and built for the long haul. The “Blue” nods to our Rocky Mountain roots and the calm confidence you feel when a problem is—finally—solved.

How We Work
- Listen – Interviews with nurses, campers, parents, collectors—anyone who says, “There’s got to be a better way.”
- Engineer – CAD, test rigs, and prints until it just works (or just wiggles perfectly).
- Manufacture on demand – Digital inventory means zero overproduction and room for customization.
- Ship from Utah – Most orders leave our shop in 1–2 business days, bound for your fridge, griddle, or toy shelf.
